Microsoft LifeCam Cinema HD Review

2

I'm not really a big fanboy of Microsoft, but I have to admit they've been making some ahem better moves lately. Windows 7 is reported as being a stable, incremental upgrade to Vista and, truth be told, I'm actually pretty happy with the Vista I'm running now.

So when it was time to upgrade to an HD webcam, Microsoft was not the first company on my list.

I first went to Logitech and read a couple of reviews. The HD cameras I had my eye on there, the Orbit AF or Pro 9000 were reported to either have problems with the features they're supposed to have or don't play nicely with Win7. I do plan to migrate to Win7 at some point, and in the past I haven't really been that happy with Logitech software from past experience.

So now it's time to try another piece of Microsoft hardware.

I'll finish out this review when I get it, as I've just ordered it from Amazon where I found a pretty good deal (best price going at the moment):

[UPDATE] – Here's the Review!

Hi Roger,

Wow that looked awsome when you switched over to the lifecam…..i use a logitech 9000 and thought that was the bees knees…it would be great if i could get you in my conference platform to see how it goes on there before i buy the lifecam (through you naturally).

Send me a reply to arrange a time to meet if you would like to spare 5 minutes talking face to face with a lad from down under :)
